Be sure to email copies of those things to yourself and back them up multiple places like you are with your images. I'm not sure how much it will help, but if she says anything explicitly illegal or proving that she's a danger to your health, I'd like to think they'll be more inclined to take action. If you suspect your mom is about to say anything damning, I advise you turn the recording app on your phone (or download a free one if your phone doesn't have it) and put the phone in your pocket to capture what she's saying. That means that you don't need the second party's (your mother's) consent to use a recording of her in a court of law. As someone who had to leave home at 17 as a result of my abusive NMom and had to speak to CPS (they didn't do anything because I was 2 months from turning 18 and the rep I spoke to waa super clear that they were just following protocol to interview me and that it would take longer than those two months to even get my case reviewed), I recommend you look up if your state is a "one-party consent" state. ![]()
